It is all alike [to Him] whether any of you conceals his thought* or brings it into the open, and whether he seeks to hide [his evil deeds] under the cover of night or walks [boldly] in the light of day,*
But when they reached the junction between the two [seas], they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight.*

But as for those who are bent on denying the truth, their [good] deeds are like a mirage in the desert, which the thirsty supposes to be water – until, when he approaches it, he finds that it was nothing:* instead, he finds [that] God [has always been present] with him, and [that] He will pay him his account in full - for God is swift in reckoning!
and when the mountains are made to vanish as if they had been a mirage.*
