Note 1

Traditional commentaries, in this instance, show us God admonishing the exalted Messenger, after completing His Noble mission, to relax, sit down on a prayer-rug, hold on to a rosary bead, hymn His praises and ask forgiveness for his sins! All this is the consequence of disregarding the original Qur’anic dialect, the Big Picture of the Qur’an, and succumbing to unfounded traditions.

110:3 extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory, and praise Him, and seek His forgiveness: for, behold, He is ever an acceptor of repentance.2

Note 2
Implying that even if people should embrace the true religion in great numbers, a believer ought not to grow self-complacent but should, rather, become more humble and more conscious of his own failings. Moreover, the Prophet is reported to have said, "Behold, people have entered God's religion in hosts - and in time they will leave it in hosts" (Ibn Hanbal, on the authority of Jabir ibn Abd Allah; a similar Tradition, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, is found in the Mustadrak).
Rashad Khalifa (The Final Testament)
110:3 You shall glorify and praise your Lord, and implore Him for forgiveness. He is the Redeemer.,
Shabbir Ahmed (Quran As It Explains Itself)
110:3 (Think not that your job is done.) Then strive hard to make the Divine System a living witness to the glory and praise of your Lord. And you shall remain vigilant to guard the System as a helmet guards the head. Indeed, He is ever Responsive to your efforts. [47:38, 94:7-8]
